While the class of 2017 is Georgia’s focus less than 24 hours before the start of National Signing Day, the Bulldogs added some security to its 2018 class Tuesday afternoon.
Georgia landed 3-star 2018 linebacker Donovan Georges Wednesday afternoon, first reported by Ryan Bartow of 247Sports.
Georges ranks as the 15th-best inside linebacker nationally and is also rated the No. 80 prospect in the state of Florida in his signing class.
“It was an honor for me to tell them I’m going to be a Dawg,” Georges told Bartow. “They said it’s an honor for me to tell them I’m finally going to be a Dawg. They said it’s a great decision for me. … It’s been my school since I was 12. They play in the best conference in the country.”
Georges is the third member of Georgia’s 2018 class, along with 4-star offensive tackle Max Wray and 4-star outside linebacker Adam Anderson.
