Jacob Eason will not win a state championship at Lake Stevens High School in Washington this year. That doesn’t mean the 5-star UGA quarterback commit didn’t go down throwing last Saturday night in the Tacoma Dome.
His Vikings fell by a 37-34 margin to Skyline High School in the semifinals of the Washington state playoffs. Eason completed 34 of his 44 passes for 392 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in his final high school game.
DawgNation videographer Nate Gettleman produced another great highlight reel of Eason’s last game in the above video. He’s captured every game of Eason’s senior season for DawgNation.
Eason finished his senior season with 235 completions in 338 attempts for 3,585 yards. He completed 70 percent of his passes and threw 43 touchdowns with just six interceptions. The nearly 6-foot-6 senior also ran for four touchdowns on the ground and punted 13 times for a 43.4 yard average per boot.
He remains committed to UGA at this time and plans to enroll early in January.
