ATHENS — Georgia will return home to face Kentucky on Nov. 7, and at this point it’s unknown whether the Bulldogs will be working towards a division title or just trying to become bowl eligible.

The kickoff time is at least known now: The SEC announced Monday that Georgia and Kentucky will play at noon. The broadcast channel isn’t decided yet: It will be either ESPN, ESPN2 or the SEC Network, to be decided after this Saturday’s games.

Georgia has a five-game winning streak over Kentucky, and has dominated the series historically (54-12-2). The past two games were decided by 42 and 32 points.

But Kentucky has been moving in the right direction lately, carrying a 4-3 record (2-3 in the SEC) into Saturday’s home game against Tennessee.

Georgia (5-2, 3-2) needs to beat Florida on Saturday to stay alive in the SEC East race. If that happens, the Bulldogs would probably still have to beat Kentucky and Auburn to ensure a spot in Atlanta.
