ATHENS — Georgia baseball will get back to work against ranked competition on Tuesday night.

The No. 5-ranked Bulldogs (29-8) play host to No. 24-ranked Clemson (25-11) at 7 p.m. at Foley Field (TV: SEC Network),. Georgia beat the Tigers earlier this season by a 5-3 count in South Carolina on April 2.

Junior right-handed pitcher Tim Elliott (5-1, 1.30 ERA) is expected in the circle for Georgia, coming off his seven-inning performance in a 12-2 win over No. 17 Georgia Tech last Tuesday.

The Bulldogs are looking for what would be their second consecutive two-game season sweep over Clemson, as they won both meetings in 2018.

Georgia is coming off a win at Tennessee after dropping the first two on Rocky Top, while the Tigers were swept at Florida State.
