ATHENS -- Georgia has been nicknamed “RBU” for quite some time, and now Kirby Smart has some new talent expected to make an impact in the running backs room in 2024.

Florida transfer Trevor Etienne has generated great excitement, as has incoming freshman Nate Frazier and returning power backs Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson, as DawgNation takes a look at the position.

Mike Griffith: This is a guy that can take it around the edge, he can run between the tackles, he can catch the ball downfield. Georgia has to manage Etienne, though, they’ve got to get him to the finish line. You need a healthy Trevor Etienne to win the national championship and get through the playoffs.

Connor Riley: That SEC experience Trevor Etienne brings over from Florida is a big reason he was one of Georgia’s top priorities in the transfer portal this offseason and a big reason why the Bulldogs feel comfortable turning around and giving him the ball in key situations.

Jeff Sentell: I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do when Bobo gets him schemed up, not against the Florida Gators, but against Alabama, against Texas, against Ole Miss, against Ole Miss in those hostile environments.

Kaylee Mansell: It’s got to be Trevor Etienne, a transfer who has generated tons of attention tons of D’Andre Swift comps. He brings a dynamic to this team that we haven’t seen since D’Andre Swift.
