ATHENS — Georgia has welcomed three safeties to the program via the transfer portal. It has now seen three safeties leave the program via the transfer portal.

Collin Gill becomes the latest Bulldog to do so, with Matt Zenitz the first to report the news.

Gill transferred to Georgia this past season after spending his freshman season at Oregon. Gill had first transferred to Temple before then enrolling at Georgia over the summer.

Gill will have three years of eligibility remaining at his next school. He played in one game this past season, making his debut against UMass. Gill is from Fort Washington, MD.

Georgia has added Zion Branch, Jaden Harris and Adrian Maddox via the transfer portal at the safety position. Branch and Harris have two years of eligibility remaining, while Maddox has just one.

The Bulldogs have also brought in wide receivers Zachariah Branch and Noah Thomas as well, giving Georgia five additions via the transfer portal.

In total, Georgia has now seen 11 players exit the program via the transfer portal.

Cornerback Julian Humphrey and outside linebacker Sam M’Pemba will head to Texas A&M, defensive lineman Jamaal Jarrett signed with USC, inside linebacker Troy Bowles is headed to Michigan, safety, Jake Pope announced he would be transferring to UNLV and safety Justyn Rhett is headed to Nebraska. Jackson, wide receiver Anthony Evans, quarterback Jaden Rashada and outside linebacker Damon Wilson are still looking for new schools.

Georgia signed 5 defensive backs in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Georgia did see Malaki Starks move on to the NFL on Monday, while Dan Jackson will exhaust his eligibility. The Bulldogs do have freshman KJ Bolden and sophomore Joenel Aguero to build around moving forward.

Georgia players have until 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 7 to enter the transfer portal, as those playing in the College Football Playoff have five days to enter following the conclusion of their season.
