Tavarres King caught his first career NFL touchdown pass on Sunday, and it was a big one.

With the Giants trailing 14-6 against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card game, New York quarterback Eli Manning hit the former Georgia wide receiver for a 41-yard touchdown pass. It was just the fifth catch of his career.

King was selected in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. Since that time, King has struggled in the NFL, spending time with Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Giants since entering the league.

He was added to the Giants practice roster in September 2016, and appeared in seven games this season while catching two passes.

King played at Georgia from 2008-12 where he caught 2,602 yards and 21 touchdowns.
