Recruiting can be a lot of pressure on kids. And those kids can’t always make everybody happy.
The father of Alabama’s newest 5-star signee didn’t appear to be happy when his son made his college decision on national TV on Wednesday. The video of the ESPN ceremony – and his father’s reaction – went viral.
Evan Neal is a 5-star offensive lineman from Florida’s IMG Academy prep school. He put on the baseball cap of Alabama over Miami, UGA, Florida and Florida State. The Bulldogs were considered a long shot.
His father’s reaction may have something to do with the Miami Hurricanes, as Neal’s family has an affinity and family history with the Hurricanes.
