Georgia won big again on Saturday. And on Sunday it moved up in the polls.

The Bulldogs blasted Florida 42-7 and then moved up one spot to No. 2 in the AP Top 25. The Bulldogs’ move up was aided by Penn State losing to Ohio State on Saturday.

Georgia sits only behind Alabama, who once again came in at No. 1. In the Amway Coaches Poll, Georgia also came in at No. 2. Two voters voted Georgia as No. 1, making it the first time all season that Georgia has gotten first place votes.

The Bulldogs only have one ranked opponent left on their regular season schedule, and that comes in two weeks at Auburn. The Bulldogs do have games against Kentucky and South Carolina, who are each 6-2, but both of those games are at home.

Georgia also closes the regular season with a game at Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs can clinch the SEC East next week with a win and a Kentucky loss, which would be the first time since 2012 that Georgia has accomplished such a feat.

As for its next game, Georgia hosts South Carolina this coming Saturday. The game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
