Georgia commit Zamir White hasn’t stepped foot on campus yet but he’s already winning national awards.

The 5-star running back was named the winner of the Sam B. Nicola Award, presented annually by the Touchdown Club of Columbus to their chosen national player of the year.

Previous winners of this prestigious award include Emmitt Smith, Josh Rosen and current Georgia QB Jacob Eason. Tech

White averaged over 14 yards per carry as a senior, totaling 2,038 yards and 34 touchdowns. However, he tore his ACL in the postseason and will be out for the foreseeable future.

White is from Laurinburg, North Carolina, and has been committed to Georgia since June 27, 2017. He’s the No. 1 RB in the country and the No. 6 overall player according to 247 Sports Composite rankings.
