The game times and television networks for the first three Georgia football opponents have been announced.
The Bulldogs open the 2019 season on Aug. 31 when Georgia visits the Vanderbilt Commodores. The game is set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff and will air on SEC Network.
The second game of the season is against Murray State on Sept. 7. The Bulldogs home opener will begin at 4 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN2.
In the third game of the season, Georgia hosts the Arkansas State Red Wolves. The game will kickoff at 12 p.m. ESPN or ESPN2 will broadcast the game.

In each of the past two seasons, Georgia has been unbeaten through the month of Septemeber, and the Bulldogs will likely be favored to win every September game in 2019.
Georgia beat Vanderbilt 41-13 at home last season. When the two teams met in Nashville back in 2017, the Bulldogs came away with a dominating 45-14 win. In the 2017 game, quarterback Jake Fromm completed 7 of his 11 pass attempts for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Last season, Fromm completed 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 276 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Commodores. As a starter, Fromm has not lost to an SEC East opponent.

Georgia has not played Arkansas State since 2001. Last season the Red Wolves went 8-5 last season. One of those losses came by the score of 57-7 against Alabama. Murray State went 5-6 at the FCS level last year. The Racers lost 48-10 against Kentucky in 2018.
The game against Murray State will also include Georgia honoring long-time coach and athletic director Vince Dooley. This offseason, Georgia announced that it would be naming the field at Sanford Stadium ‘Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium’.
A game time has not yet been announced for Georgia’s fourth game of the year against Notre Dame. The Bulldogs host the Fighting Irish on Sept. 21 in what will undoubtedly be one of the games of the year. CBS did let it be known that Sept. 21 will be a doubleheader, with the second game kicking off at 8 p.m. ET. It would make a lot sense if the Georgia-Notre Dame game filled that time slot.
Georgia’s game against Florida is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. ET start on Nov. 2.
Last season Georgia went 11-3. The Bulldogs once again won the SEC East, but lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship game.
