Georgia reportedly has added Indiana State to its 2023 schedule.
On Wednesday, it was learned that the Bulldogs will host the Sycamores on a date to be determined that year, per a report from FBSchedules.com’s Kevin Kelley. Georgia will pay Indiana State a $500,000 guarantee for the matchup.
The Bulldogs are coming off a memorable 13-2 season under Kirby Smart. Their run in 2017 included an SEC title, a victory over Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl and an appearance in the National Championship Game against Alabama.
Indiana State, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, went 0-11 last season.
The Sycamores are the second-known nonconference opponent for Georgia in 2023. The Bulldogs also are scheduled to play ACC foe Georgia Tech on Nov. 25 that year.
