Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm reportedly sustained an injury to his non-throwing hand recently.

As reported by UGASports.com’s Trent Smallwood on Wednesday, Fromm sustained a broken left hand in a lake incident on Monday. The break happened in a “freak” accident, per Smallwood.

Fromm threw for 2,615 yards with 24 touchdowns and 7 interceptions last season as he helped guide Georgia to an SEC title, a Rose Bowl victory against Oklahoma and an appearance in the National Championship Game against Alabama.

The Bulldogs finished 13-2 last season.
