Georgia linebacker Keyon Brown legally changed his name.

On Tuesday, Georgia spokesman Leland Barrow announced that the senior’s name is now Keyon Richardson. The player was a 4-star member of the Class of 2014. A native of Wauchula, Fla., the 6-foot-3, 257-pound athlete redshirted in 2014 before working on the scout team in 2015 and 2016.

Richardson had 4 tackles last season as Georgia finished with a 13-2 record. The Bulldogs won the SEC, beat Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl and faced Alabama in the National Championship Game in coach Kirby Smart’s second season with the program.

Georgia opens the 2018 season against Austin Peay on Sept. 1.
