ATHENS — Georgia football coach Kirby Smart likes to say his team plays to a high standard each game, regardless of opponent.

The No. 3-ranked Bulldogs (3-0) appeared to do that for the most part for at least one half en route to a 49-7 win over Middle Tennessee (1-2) on Saturday at Sanford Stadium.
