NEW ORLEANS — Georgia has plenty of quality depth, and it’s a good thing, because the bowl game attrition has been at an all-time high.

The No. 5-ranked Bulldogs play No. 7 Baylor at 8:45 p.m. in the Sugar Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Junior running back D’Andre Swift is dressed out for the game and going through warmups, but Kirby Smart has said he won’t play unless he’s “100 percent.”

Swift, who has been dealing with a sore shoulder, is one of four game captains, for what that is worth.

Senior receiver Lawrence Cager remains on crutches and is present for the game wearing his game jersey one more time. It’s the same for freshman receiver Dominick Blaylock, who underwent knee surgery in December after suffering a first quarter injury against LSU in the SEC title game.

Receiver Tommy Bush, who returned from groin surgery, was also not dressed out for the game.
