Georgia earned a top 5 ranking in the preseason Coaches Poll.

On Thursday, the Bulldogs came in at No. 4 in the poll. Georgia followed Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State. Oklahoma rounded out the top 5.

Auburn was the only other SEC team ranked within the top 10, coming in at No. 10.

Georgia opens the season against Austin Peay on Sept. 1. The Bulldogs are coming off a 2017 season in which they claimed an SEC title, won the Rose Bowl and faced Alabama in the National Championship Game.

Georgia finished 13-2 last season.
