The Georgia Bulldogs have added a future home game against UAB to their schedule, as UAB announced that it will be traveling to Athens to take on the Bulldogs on Sept. 23 during the 2023 season.
This will be the third-ever meeting between the two programs, with Georgia winning the previous two matchups back in 2003 and 2005. UAB also announced a future game against LSU that is set for the 2022 season. The Blazers went 9-5 last season and made an appearance in the Conference USA title game, where they lost to Lane Kiffin’s FAU team. Bill Clark is the current head coach of the Blazers.
UAB is the third non-conference game Georgia has scheduled for the 2023 season, as the Bulldogs will visit Norman, Okla., to take on the Oklahoma Sooners. That game is set for a Sept. 9 date. Georgia also visits Georgia Tech during that season as well.
Georgia’s 2020 schedule has them playing non-conference games against Virginia, East Tennessee State, Lousiana-Monroe and Georgia Tech to close the season. Georgia’s SEC schedule also sees the Bulldogs taking on Alabama, Auburn and Florida.
Georgia is set to begin the 2020 season on Sept. 7, as the Bulldogs are scheduled to take on Virginia. The game will be played in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
