Georgia’s 41-0 shutout victory over Tennessee allowed the Bulldogs to move up to No. 6 in the latest Amway Coaches Poll on Sunday.
Georgia was No. 8 in the poll a week ago.
The Bulldogs are the second highest ranked SEC team in the poll behind Alabama. Georgia dominated Butch Jones’ team from start to finish on Saturday in a game it was expected to win. The Bulldogs ran over Tennessee to the tune of 294 yards rushing, including 109 on the ground from star running back Nick Chubb.
Georgia will stay on the road next week as it heads to Nashville to play Vanderbilt to try and stay undefeated. The Bulldogs then get Mizzou at home before having a bye week. They will then face Florida in Jacksonville on Oct. 28.
