ATHENS — Georgia football has two of the top eight Heisman Trophy favorites on its roster, according to one online oddsmaker.
Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm and tailback D’Andre Swift are both listed with 12-to-1 odds to win the prestigious award.
Fromm finished fifth in the nation in passing efficiency and is expected to continue to improve with James Coley remaining as his position coach while also assuming play-calling duties.

Swift gained a team-high 1,049 yards rushing in addition to 297 yards receiving despite playing at less than 100 percent after offseason groin surgery.
Swift, with a healthy offseason, could be targeted for 2,000 total yards of offense in 2019 with Elijah Holyfield’s decision to declare himself eligible for the NFL draft.
New Ohio State quarterback and former Georgia player Justin Fields is also at 12-to-1, along with Wisconsin’s Big Ten rushing champion, Jonathan Taylor.
Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, the 2018 FWAA Freshman of the Year, is the favorite with 3-to-1 odds, while Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa is 4-to-1 despite entering his junior season with a new offensive coordinator.
Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts, who entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal and has made publicized visits to other schools, is at 9-to-1.
Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger, whose MVP performance lifted the Longhorns to 28-21 Sugar Bowl win over Georgia, is at 16-to-1.
