AUBURN, Ala. — Georgia QB Jake Fromm matched his season high with three touchdown passes, cashing in on all three drives the Bulldogs made inside of the Auburn 40.
But for all of that efficiency, Fromm and the Georgia offense were not overwhelming.

They certainly weren’t effective in the fourth quarter of the 21-14 win over the Tigers on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Fromm, now 33-6 as Georgia’s quarterback, was the first to say as much after his 13-of-28 passing performance totaled 110 yards with no interceptions and just one sack yielded.
The Bulldogs had a season-low 251 yards on their 64 plays in their SEC East Division-clinching win over Auburn.
“Too much pressure on the defense there, we need to sustain drives, we need to get first downs and help them out,” Fromm said. “But they answered the bell, really thankful they pulled this one out for us.”
The Georgia offense had a season-high nine three-and-out series on offense, losing the time of possession battle 32:17 to 27:43 for the first time this season.
The Bulldogs were only 3-of-15 converting third downs, and punter Jake Camarda punted 11 times.
Georgia managed just 2 yards of offense on 12 plays — eight runs and four passes — in the fourth quarter.
The Bulldogs were 0-for-4 on third downs and had the ball just 4:46 of the final 15 minutes.
Auburn, meanwhile, scored twice to cut into what was a 21-0 lead.
“When we get back on Sunday morning, we’ll watch this film and crush it and flush it and get ready to play Texas A&M, we have to get better on offense,” Fromm said.
“Our defense did a really great job and for us, and we need to get better these next two games.”
