BATON ROUGE, La. — Georgia’s defensive line will be as thin as Kirby Smart suggested it might be, with three Bulldogs not traveling to LSU.
Defensive end David Marshall and defensive tackles DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle and Devonte Wyatt did not make the trip to Tiger Stadium.
Marshall is dealing with a foot injury, while Wyatt is out because of a leg injury. Smart has not specified the nature of the injury/absence for Hawkins-Muckle.
Freshman defensive tackle Jordan Davis is making his first road trip, earning his spot last week with a fourth-down stop at the Bulldogs’ 14 in what was then a 7-3 game with Vanderbilt.
