So maybe Jake Fromm should take it easy with the fishing.

The Georgia quarterback, who is an avid hunter and fisherman, posted on social media that he had a fishing lure stuck in his leg. Fromm posted the injury to his Instagram story on Thursday night, just hours after he had posted a story with him catching a fish.

Another Instagram story showed Fromm was at the Cook Medical Center in Adel, Ga., likely to have the fishing lure removed from his leg. The second Instagram picture came from the account of Jordan Rowe.

The fishing lure in his leg probably is more painful to look at than it actually was for Fromm.

Fromm started 14 games for Georgia in his freshman season, taking over for Jacob Eason in the first game of the season. Georgia went 13-2, winning the SEC Championship and the Rose Bowl before losing to Alabama in the national title game. He completed 62 percent of his passes and threw for 24 touchdowns to just 7 interceptions.

Eason ended up transferring to Washington. But Fromm will still have some competition, as Justin Fields is now at Georgia. Fields was the No. 2 overall recruit in the 2018 recruiting class.

Georgia opens its season Sept. 1 when it hosts Austin Peay.
