Goergia kicker Rodrigo Blankenship wasn’t the starting kicker coming out of fall camp, now he’s sort of a superstar.

A walk-on, Blankenship took the job from William Ham, who didn’t start well. He was also responsible for lifting the Bulldogs to victory over Kentucky and just shrugged it off afterwords.

Now he’s getting into the holiday spirit, as if he wasn’t already lovable enough with those glasses.

While Blankenship doesn’t necessarily look the mold of football player, he certainly took the mold well this season. He was 13 of 16 on field goals and 22 of 22 on extra points. After beating Kentucky, he was 9 of 10 to start his career, seemingly unfazed by the lights or pressure.

But wearing a santa costume encapsulates why he’s such a likeable person even though he might come off as a bit isolated. He’s not afraid to be himself. Luckily for this costume, he got to keep the Georgia colors on.
