ATHENS — Championships are won in the offseason, and for star quarterbacks like Carson Beck, NIL dollars are made.

That said, even the most cynical will have to appreciate Beck’s positive representation in the recently released video.

Beck, who has been hard at work and by all counts having a strong fall camp entering the team’s second scrimmage on Saturday, is representing a local private aviation company.

“Dreams aren’t just goals,” Beck says in the advertisement, “they’re the journey that shapes us.”

Beck appears with his mother and sister in the compelling video, which pays tribute to his football journey.

“Every great dream begins with a single step of faith,” said Beck, who once switched his football commitment from Nick Saban’s Alabama program to Kirby Smart’s Georgia program.

“It’s not about the accolades or the applause, it’s about the countless hours, the sacrifices, and the relentless pursuit of something greater.”

That something greater for Beck — who led UGA to a 13-1 record and an Orange Bowl victory — would be leading the Bulldogs to a national title this season.

“Every drop of sweat, every moment of doubt,” said Beck, who sat as a reserve his first three seasons at Georgia, “is a step closer to turning dreams into reality … "

To their credit, whoever wrote the narrative for Beck’s commercial certainly knew how to marry his story of patience to a strong brand image.
