Former UGA commit B.J. Emmons finally opened up some about his recruitment this weekend.

Emmons pledged to Alabama last month after de-committing from UGA in June. He’s a 4-star running back from Morganton, N.C.

“Alabama is the truth man,” Emmons told John Garcia, Jr. of Scout.com.

“Who wouldn’t want to go to Alabama?”

Emmons said he de-committed from UGA because he felt like rushed the process and wanted to explore new options after improving his grades.

The 5-foot-10, 232-pounder seems like he hasn’t regretted his decision to commit to Alabama at all.

After the de-commitment of Emmons, UGA was left with no running back commitments in this year’s recruiting class, but that could change come Sept. 4 when Elijah Holyfield announces his commitment.
