Coconut Creek 4-star cornerback Trayvon Mullen visited UGA for Dawg Night on July 18. He was in the Metro Atlanta area again on Saturday afternoon to take part in a Florida vs. Georgia showdown at James R. Hallford Stadium in Dekalb County.
Mullen and his teammate Malek Young are both planning to return to Georgia on another trip this fall. Mullen said there’s a “strong possibility” he will use one of his official visits to return to UGA. Young is already committed to UGA and he’s only planning just that one official visit.
Which game will it be? Why does he still think UGA can get one of his five official visits? He answers all those questions in the video interview above.
FSU and LSU are the schools most recruiting analysts consider to be the favorites to sign Mullen, but he told the AJC that Clemson, Ohio State and Ole Miss are in the mix.
Why does he still think UGA is in it?
“They are in it,” Mullen said. “Me and coach (Jeremy Pruitt) have got a great relationship. The coaching staff and the coaches here hit me up a lot. I feel like that’s a school that I will ride with (when making his decision) until the end.”
