UGA fans cleared out of EverBank Field with 10 minutes left to play. That’s because Florida dominated UGA, winning 27-3 in Jacksonville.
The Gators held the Bulldogs to only 223 total yards and forced five turnovers.
Shortly after the game, DawgNation caught up with some recruits to get a quick reaction to how their visit went.
All recruits were asked the following question: What is your reaction after UGA’s loss today?
Their responses are below. Check them out.
Darion Anderson, 2016 3-star wide receiver (UGA commit) — “It was a tough loss. The offense just couldn’t score any points.”
Tyrique McGhee, 2016 3-star defensive back (UGA commit) — “I have no reaction at all, really. It’s all good. They just lost to a very talented Florida team.”
Davion Curtis, 2016 3-star wide receiver (UGA commit) — “I’m lost for words. We need to do better against the next team. Our offense just wasn’t there today.”
Charlie Woerner, 2016 4-star wide receiver (UGA commit) — “It just wasn’t their day. The offense will regroup. I thought our defense played well.”
Randrecous Davis, 2016 3-star wide receiver (UGA commit) — “Well, I’m shocked. The offense just needs to step up. I think the plays should be opened up a bit more with passing, and I think that’s going to happen when my class gets there. The defense is straight, though.”
Chris Barnes, 2016 3-star offensive lineman (UGA commit) — “It ain’t good.”
Deejay Dallas, 2017 4-star athlete (UGA commit) — “I have to respectfully decline answering that question.”
Demetris Robertson, 2016 nation’s No. 2 athlete (uncommitted) — “I mean, UGA had some uncertainty at quarterback and injuries going in, and Florida is trending up right now. It’s a timing thing. Florida caught them at a vulnerable time.”
Nate McBride, 2017 4-star linebacker (uncommitted) — “It was crazy. Ever since (Nick) Chubb got hurt, they haven’t done so well, but Florida is a very good team.”
Trey Blount, 2017 4-star wide receiver (uncommitted) — “It was tough looking at the game today. I really thought they would come out and play better than they did. They need to get back to the drawing board and try to finish the season strong.”
