Dylan Singleton is committing any day now.

With his commitment date approaching, Singleton still says UGA leads over Duke.

“I have been talking with the coaches and they have been recruiting me very well,” Singleton told the AJC. “I have been up there a couple of times now and I feel very comfortable there.”

Duke is a major competitor to UGA because Singleton’s brother, Deondre, is the starting safety for the Blue Devils. So is Deondre trying to strongly recruit his little brother?

“Not really,” Dylan said. “He says he is going to support me no matter what.”

Even though UGA leads for the safety, Singleton says it’s a close battle.

“I just need a couple more conversations with the (Duke) coaches and my family to look at the bigger picture,” he said. “It’s nothing that the Duke coaches need to tell me, I know everything about the school pretty much.”

The AJC Super 11 prospect says he will commit by the end of the month. Archer’s first game is on Friday against North Paulding, and Singleton did say committing before the game remains a possibility.
