Georgia extended an offer to a signal-caller the same day it lost a commitment from another.

That would be Jake Fromm, a 2017 four-star from Houston County, who has been committed to Alabama since October. The move came in response to Bailey Hockman’s de-commitment from the program on Monday.

“Just need to find the place that is right for me,” Hockman told DawgNation yesterday. “Maybe try and play for an offensive head coach.”

Despite the offer, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect told DawgNation he is still 100 percent committed to the Crimson Tide.

Fromm, the No. 8 quarterback in next year’s class, threw for 4,099 yards and 36 touchdowns as a junior.
