Georgia, as you might have seen on these pages, is having a pretty good December so far. Look for the UGA recruiting efforts to benefit. Clearly.

The Bulldogs won their first SEC title since 2005 on Saturday night with a rousing 28-7 victory against Auburn in the first SEC Championship game played in pristine Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

It marked the first time the program had done that since 2005. It was also the first time the Eastern Division champion

DawgNation hopes that headline will spark others.

For that to happen, the future of the program must be strong. DawgNation checked in with dozens of Georgia’s top future recruiting targets and their commitments for 2018, 2019 and 2020.

The pitch will no longer be to come help the team win an SEC title. It will be to come help the Bulldogs win another one. And another one.

How do those future Bulldogs and potential signees feel about the program now?

So how ’bout that SEC Championship?

Devonte Wyatt/4-star DT/2018 commit: It was a great game. I knew we had the opportunity to win the game but I liked how they stopped Auburn’s run game and put pressure on the quarterback the whole game.”
