WARMINSTER, Pa. — When it was over, the two cousins met up on one side of the field.

The ESPNU telecast was over. A hobbled D’Andre Swift and top-ranked St. Joseph’s Prep had just beaten an Archbishop Wood team led by the newest commitment to Georgia’s Class of 2017.

Mark Webb Jr. was sore. He played both ways in the 43-24 result and was cramping. The usually jovial four-star prospect was depleted. Webb was in the leave-it-all-on-the-field club after this one. He became Georgia’s highest-rated commitment at receiver just prior to the game.

Swift committed earlier this year to set up an uncommon storyline. Georgia has earned commitments from two cousins from Philadelphia. They both saw something new and different in the Georgia program led by first-year head coach Kirby Smart. They wanted to be a part of it.

When Swift saw daylight through a decent gauntlet of media members, he found Webb. Or better yet his hand did. He gave his cousin a playful tap on the cheek.

Got ya, cousin. You might hear about this one for more than a minute.

Bragging rights were secured. What did the two say afterward in a live interview hosted on the DawgNation Facebook page? Check it out below. The subsequent video embed is a conversation with Webb’s parents shortly after he committed to Georgia.

What did we learn from those two interviews? Here’s a sampling:

  • How did it feel for D’Andre to see his cousin commit to Georgia?
  • What former Georgia great is an inspiration to Webb?
  • How did Swift feel Friday night trying to give it a go?
  • What was it like for the guys to see Georgia assistant Dell McGee on the field to watch them play on Friday night?
  • Where did Webb’s father get that UGA hat that caught the attention of all the Bulldog fans on the live chat?
  • What special treat did Webb’s family enjoy in the stands prior to the game?
  • What do the guys think about joining the Georgia offense?
  • Do they plan to room together?
  • When does Webb plan to take his official visit to Georgia?
  • Will they watch the Missouri game together? What were their predictions for the game?
