Georgia is excited about seeing 5-star safety Richard LeCounte on the field in Athens soon, and he’s giving the Bulldogs a nice preview of what he can do during practices for the Army All-American Bowl.

LeCounte went head-to-head against 4-star WR Devonta Smith, a former Georgia commit, in one-on-one drills Tuesday. And the Bulldogs’ top commit didn’t just keep Smith from making a catch: he removed him from the entire field.

And then he sat him down on the bench.

LeCounte has been committed to Georgia for over a year, and he’s the highest rated player in the Bulldogs’ 2017 class. He is set to enroll this month.

Georgia has nine commits, including LeCounte, playing in the All-America game this weekend. The Army Bowl will kick off Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.
