Is everyone ready to start thinking about UGA commitment Jacob Eason as a dual-threat quarterback?

Well, that might be an exaggeration, but the 5-star quarterback did break free for a 25-yard touchdown run on Friday night. He might not be another Mike Vick yet, but that’s a pretty impressive feat for a 6-foot-6 quarterback.

That play was one of another long reel of Eason’s highlights as Lake Stevens High School (Wash.) beat rival Snohomish 48-7 to improve to 4-0 this season.

The nation’s No. 2 quarterback also completed 12 of his 15 passes for 202 yards and four touchdowns.

It only adds to the great play from Eason so far this year. He had a perfect 14-for-14 night two weeks ago and unleashed another laser beam of a pass on Friday that covered 60 yards. That’s after letting a ball go some 65 yards on the fly last week.

How good has Eason been so far this season? Well, he’s 55 of 76 for 1,025 yards, 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions. He’s had at least seven dropped passes, but still has a sterling 72-percent completion rate.

Look for the AJC’s DawgNation.com to have exclusive video of the Eason run later this weekend.
