Mark Richt, who was fired by UGA, definitely wants to coach again.

In a Monday press conference while sitting next to UGA athletics director Greg McGarity, the charismatic Richt had some interesting things to say.

Perhaps most interesting was his desire to coach again — after stating throughout his UGA career that he thought the Bulldogs would be his last stop.

“I’ll listen to anyone who has interest in me in any area or arena,” Richt told reporters.

And in case that didn’t get the message across, Richt went into more details, saying “no doubt” he could again. He’d like to be a quarterbacks coach or offensive coordinator, if not a head coach.

“I miss coaching quarterbacks. I miss calling plays.”
