Georgia mega fan Mike “Big Dawg” Woods passed away this week.
He was 65.
Woods was best known for painting his head to resemble a Georgia Bulldog.
During the 2016 season, DawgNation’s Brooke Willis caught up with Woods and talked about his love for all things UGA in the video above.
Woods was a fixture at Bulldogs’ games with his red shirt, overallas and painted head. Photos of him with other UGA fans filled social media after his passing.
Woods’ father, Lonnie Lee Woods, first pained his head in 1980. Woods died in 1987. Woods’ son Trent, seen in the video, said he will carry on the tradition after his father’s passing.
