Mark Fox has his second 4-star recruit in the 2018 class. Landers Nolley, a wing player from Fairburn, has committed to the Georgia basketball program.

Nolley revealed his commitment on Saturday night after an official visit to UGA. He joins Amanze Ngumezi of Savannah, a 6-foot-9, 235-pound post player who announced his commitment in September. Nolley is rated as the fourth-best prospect in Georgia this cycle, and Ngumezi is No. 5.

A senior at Langston Hughes High School, Nolley can play shooting guard and small forward, and possibly some point.

Nolley (6-4, 175 pounds) is rated the nation’s 96th-best prospect in the 2018 class by the 247Sports composite. Scout.com has Nolley rated No. 56 in the nation.

Illinois had been considered the favorite because Nolley spent time in that state in high school. But he announced on Friday that his “championship” came down to Virginia Tech and Georgia.

And that came as Nolley was preparing to make his official visit to Athens.
