An example of that might have taken place back at SEC Media Days in July when former Auburn star -- turned SEC Network analyst -- Takeo Spikes predicted South Carolina to beat Georgia this season.
On Saturday, the two teams will meet and we’ll find out how accurate Spikes’ prediction was, but safe to say, most people aren’t expecting him to be correct. The Bulldogs are a 24.5-point favorite in the game.
I’ll explain on today’s show why using Spikes’ words as a motivational ploy might be a good card for UGA to play as it prepares to go on the road for its first conference game Saturday.
