Go With the Flow: 3 things to know before betting UGA as a 19.5-point favorite at Tennessee

Georgia has covered four straight games as a road favorite.

The Bulldogs won 34-10 at Auburn in October as a 14.5-point favorite, and 62-0 as a 36-point favorite in September. UGA also finished last season with wins and covers against South Carolina and Missouri as a 14 and 22-point favorites respectively.

Tennessee is 2-3 against the spread at home in 2021.

The Volunteers failed to cover their last home game as a one-point underdog in a 31-26 loss to Ole Miss. Tennessee’s home covers came in a 56-0 win vs. Tennessee Tech and a 45-20 win against South Carolina.

The Vols are 0-2 so far this season against the spread when an underdog of 19 or more points.

Tennessee has faced two spreads similar to what it will encounter Saturday vs. the Bulldogs. The Vols failed to cover in both instances -- losing 38-14 as a 19-point favorite at Florida and 52-24 at Alabama as a 25-point underdog.
